A Gulf Coast pop-culture shop running since 2012, the Hillcrest location of Play and Talk packs a wall of trading card singles and sealed alongside retro games, anime figures, and console repair. A touchscreen kiosk lets you hunt the exact card you need, and they buy and trade for cash or store credit.

Love the customer service here! The staff is always helpful, and they consistently have great stuff in stock. Yes, sometimes prices are higher than MSRP, but they’re based on the actual market—just like online—except you don’t have to wait for shipping or stand in long lines.…

Wonderful store. Always the best service with great products. All of the staff is extremely helpful and always a joy to see. Clarence helped with all of our questions and made sure we were taken care of! 10/10 would recommend.

Fun chill place. Been coming here every other week with friends to hang out. Very bad for my wallet, but great for retail therapy. Clarence is our boi.
