Opal Grove Games is an inclusive, independent, community-centered brick-and-mortar tabletop store and social "third place" in Detroit. Founded as a welcoming space to promote diverse participation in the gaming community, the store pairs custom play spaces with an extensive board game library available for rent or purchase. They support casual and organized gaming activities, bridging the gap between mainstream party games and complex tactical strategy titles.

Excellent selection of games in a really cute cozy store. The employee (missed the name) was awesome about helping figure out a present for a secret Santa I have. I can't remember being helped by a more knowledgeable person. This store is a gem!

Hidden gem that welcomes gamers of every kind. They sell games, have space to rent for gaming and put on a host of gaming activities. One of my favorites in Detroit.

Really cool place for playing and buying many different Games. The staff was so helpful and very friendly. I ordered my Monopoly Detroit Edition for pick up, too. YES, they have them in stock.

Thet have tons of games, as well as unique stuff you can't find at a big store! Plus they are great at telling what kind of games you might like. I have gotten really great game recommendations from them, and they will order something special if I want it. They have a rental…
