First Aid Comics on East 55th Street is a beloved Hyde Park institution carrying comics, board games, Magic, Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh, One Piece, and Star Wars Unlimited. This place has an amazing selection of comics, pins, magnets for your fridge, and a selection of board/card games! The employees are so friendly and kind, and very helpful. So glad we stopped by while in town!

The staff are super nice and the shop has a wide range of comics. Also it has a space on the second floor for board games, rpgs, and trading cards games. The shop frequently holds various activities.(though I don’t have a chance to take part in one). Awesome in every way.

This place was great for a fast visit. Since I live so far out, I had to stop by when I was in the area and had to check it out... and I'm glad I did. Great selection, great set up of everything and great employees!

i absolutely love first aid comics. ive come in a couple times during lunch breaks, and everyone is always friendly and welcoming. christmas eve, i came in looking for a gift, and was able to get what i needed. not only that, but i asked what i could wrap the comics in to keep…

Very friendly staff; helped me find a comic for my 7 year old nephew based on what he's already read. Good selection of graphic novels for 6 -12. And tons of DC/Marvel comics
